This was a Sedona wedding day for the books! So full of fun, laughter, heartfelt emotions, friends and family. And, it was their second wedding in about four weeks! Raquel and Jarrod eloped about a month earlier in a sunrise ceremony at the Grand Canyon. It was just the two of them. Intimate and private. Really beautiful. You can take a look at that amazing morning right here. Then they invited their friends and family to head out to Sedona for a full blown wedding ceremony and reception at Sky Ranch Lodge. The day started with both Jarrod and Raquel getting ready in separate spots on the property. Same wedding dress and same suit as their earlier elopement. Kind of nice to get a second chance to wear their wedding clothes, if you ask me. And really nice to share the experience with their parents and their wedding party. We had plenty of time for portraits the guys and girls before Raquel and Jarrod met in the gardens in the middle of the property for a first look. Despite eloping, the moment still carried so much meaning and emotion. The ceremony took place on Sky Ranch Lodge’s patio overlooking the red rocks across Sedona. Pretty rad spot to get married. When it came time to read their vows to each other, it became obvious that they had modified them for their second ceremony. Pretty nice. After family photos, we ran down the road to Airport Mesa Vortex for some couples portraits. The sunset was awesome. After that, it was party time. Grand entrance, first dance, toasts, bouquet and garter tosses and an epic dance floor situation. They even brought their sphynx cat out to enjoy the party! It was a special day. Enjoy!
