I met Chris and Kari before the sun came up for a Horseshoe Bend engagement photography session. What a radical sunrise with plenty of drama in the sky!
A proposal to get married is always amazing to photograph. When it's a Grand Canyon proposal it is usually really magical. This one was no exception! James proposed to Fiona on the rim of the Grand Canyon at Yavapai Point. It’s really one of my favorite spots at the canyon.
Spencer proposed to Mallory during a spectacular sunrise at the Grand Canyon. We kept the surprise under wraps. And she said yes!
Brittany and Justin's Flagstaff engagement photography session at Hart Prairie was beautiful. They included their daughter, making it even more special.
Heather, Greg, their dog Oliver and I spent a beautiful evening together during their Red Rock Crossing engagement session in Sedona.
Keri and Randall traveled across the country for their Bell Rock engagement session in Sedona. The red rocks are always so inspiring!
Moton surprised Rebecca when he proposed at the Grand Canyon. She said yes! Grand Canyon Engagement photo sessions are so epic!
When it comes to weather, you never know what you’re going to get at the Grand Canyon. I met Ashley and Taylor at Lipan Point for their Grand Canyon engagement session on what has to be the windiest day I have ever experienced on the south rim of the canyon. It was pretty crazy!
Jeannie and Richie celebrated 10 years of marriage at one of the most epic spots at the Grand Canyon. Shoshone Point is spectacular and stormy skies only make it better.
You can't beat an engagement session in Oak Creek Canyon. Fer reals. Especially a West Fork engagement session.
Shannon and Molly are theater people. They've spent a lot of time at Theatrikos in downtown Flasgtaff so it made sense to head there for their engagement session. We started outside to take advantage of the fall color before heading inside. To say this session was pretty darn fun is an understatement.
Rohan proposed to Rujuta last November on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon on a beautiful, crisp afternoon. Rohan and I had been in contact for at least a month. We coordinated our meeting spot and plan for photographing the moment he asked Rujuta to marry him. I love photographing once in a lifetime moments. Asking your "person" to marry you totally qualifies!
I met Marissa and Dave at their Alma Mater, the University of Arizona for an engagement photo session. The two live in Los Angeles now but they drove back to Arizona to meet up. We had a great time visiting their old haunts and after the session ate burritos and drank margarita's. Pretty nice afternoon!
Andy proposed to Andrea on a crisp day in March at the Grand Canyon. You would never know it was the middle of winter when we took these engagement photos. Must be their love for each other - or an unseasonably warm day. I'm going with both in this case.
Adylis and Brett wanted a destination engagement session in a location with epic landscapes. Horseshoe Bend fits that criteria perfectly. We met late in the day at the Horseshoe Bend parking lot and proceeded to walk out to the bend. It's a dusty half mile walk. But Adylis was down for the adventure even while wearing a beautiful floor (or dirt) length gown.
Sean and Sandy live in Tucson but wanted a winter feel for their engagement photo session. February in Flagstaff will give you just that. Especially this winter. Snow keeps on falling!
You could say Matt is full of surprises. He told his girlfriend Lauren he was taking her on a surprise weekend getaway and that she should pack a bag and prepare for a long drive. On Friday morning he drove her to the Airport (they live in Georgia) and surprised her with a flight to Phoenix and a trip to the Grand Canyon.
Autumn and Luke are outdoors people so we met in the forest outside Flagstaff for their engagement photos. These two also love their dogs so they came along as well. Super fun!
