This was a really fun Flagstaff wedding! The sheer amount of laughter throughout the day made for one of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve had documenting weddings throughout Arizona and beyond. The wedding ceremony took place at the Flagstaff Arboretum. The Arboretum is really one of my all time favorite venues anywhere. The ceremony site features one of the best views of the San Francisco peaks and is nestled between beautiful pines. Marisol got ready in the Walter Reichardt House, which is a beautiful space to prepare for your ceremony. Her daughter and her Mom helped her get ready. She wore a 1940s inspired dress that really fit her personality. Jeff arrived ready to go with one exception. He needed a bite to eat, which he took care of promptly. After a beautiful, both emotional and light-hearted wedding ceremony, we took some family portraits. And then Marisol and Jeff and I wandered the property for a few portraits in the late afternoon’s soft light. Then it was off to the Weatherford Hotel in downtown Flagstaff for a really fun wedding reception. After the two made their entrance and then cut their wedding cake, we snuck out to explore the streets and alleys around the hotel. We made some really fun portraits in about 15 minutes and then we headed back in for dinner and dancing, all the while enjoying the wrap around balcony that overlooks historic downtown Flagstaff. So much fun. Enjoy!
