I love photographing marriage proposals! It’s a magical, crazy moment. Nathan and Amelia planned a sunrise start to their day with plenty of hiking on the agenda. I arrived at Bell Rock in Sedona about 15 minutes before they arrived and walked up on the red rocks to a spot where I could see them coming. Nathan and I had obviously spent time talking about the logistics of capturing the moment he proposed in photos. i sent him a Google earth screen shot and marked it up with the location he needed to arrive at before proposing. When they walked up on the spot, he got down on one knee and, when Amelia turned around, the proposal happened! Pretty amazing moment! After that is was a flood of emotions. Once the moment kind of settled in a bit, we explored, enjoyed the early morning light and views and made some fun engagement photos. Really beautiful morning!
