Amanda and Sebastian’s wedding day was an amazing celebration from start to finish. So much joy, laughter and love all day long! Their wedding took place at Little America hotel in Flagstaff. It’s kind of a hidden gem. Driving by the hotel, you don’t get a sense of just how awesome the grounds are, how beautiful the outdoor ceremony location is and how spacious and comfortable the reception ballroom is. But once you park and make your way onto the hotel property, it becomes clear how nice a wedding location the venue really is.
I made my way to Amanda’s suite first thing and photographed wedding day details, her dress and final preparation, which was underway. Sebastian and his half of the wedding party were in a room around the corner, so I bounced back and forth pretty easily. That’s one of the nice things about planning a wedding at Little America. Everybody is on the property, but everything still feels nice and spread out. It’s laid out pretty nicely.
Sebastian and crew poured some nice bourbon and enjoyed a drink together after he got his suit on. Over in Amanda’s suit, her mom helped her into her dress. Instead of a younger flower person, their were two flower men - complete with fanny packs to carry flowers and flowers in their hair and beards.
Amanda and Sebastian chose not to do a first look. They saw each other as she walked down the aisle. The ceremony took place under Little America’s beautiful gazebo. It was a beautiful, sunny spring day with some clouds in the sky. Pretty perfect. After their ceremony we took group and family photos. Then, Amanda, Sebastian and myself explored the grounds behind the ceremony location and made some portraits. And then we were off to the reception!
The reception was full of dancing, great food and drinks, toasts, cake cutting and overall good times. We snuck out for a few more portraits just as the sun went down.
Beautiful day! Enjoy!
