When you decide on a Grand Canyon elopement in the winter months, you have to be prepared for any kind of weather. Cindy and Adam experienced a little bit of everything - wind, snow and a beautiful sunset! To be totally honest, you never really know what kind of weather you’ll get at the Canyon just about any time of year. Monsoon rain and thunderstorms, wind, snow, cold weather and hot weather are all a possibility. You just need to come prepared. I drove through rain all the way to the Canyon to meet them. But as I pulled up, the rain stopped, although it was still really windy. Cindy and Adam were not worried in the least and we set out to make some epic elopement photos. After about 20 minutes, a snow storm came in from the southwest and before we knew it, we were right in the middle of it. Again, these two were down to press on. And it paid off. we made some really fun and dramatic photos before we decided to call it a day and head back to the warmth of our cars. As I was heading home, the sun came out of the clouds and I felt like we had missed out after cutting our session a little short. I pulled into Moran Point to take in the sunset and who should I see in the parking lot? Cindy and Adam! So we jumped back in and made some rad sunset photos. In the end, they experienced the Grand Canyon in such a more complete way. At least when it comes to weather! Enjoy!
