Sedona’s incredible red rock backdrops are perfect for family photography sessions any time of year. The Hoover family and some friends met me at Yavapai Overlook in the fall and we explored the area for about an hour. Pretty good looking family photos!
Many of my clients ask me what they should wear for their family portraits. I prefer when folks wear outfits that they are comfortable in. If you wear something really out of the ordinary for you, you probably won’t feel like yourself. Not good! As for coordinating outfits, solid colors work together nicely. Primary colors are always a good idea. Pick a color and work from there. The family below is a good example. Black dress, solid colored dress shirt and jeans and a green dress. Nice work!
