I’ve said it before and I’ll say it many times more, proposing at the Grand Canyon is always pretty epic. And I’m not using that word lightly. Asking someone to marry you is a pretty big deal. But when you propose at the edge of the Canyon the moment sure does seem to take on even more importance. Maybe it has something to do with the magnitude of the Grand Canyon. It can be overwhelming just trying to take it all in.

Dave proposed to Margaret on a beautiful spring evening at Yavapai Point near the geology museum in Grand Canyon National Park. Unbeknownst to Margaret, I was there to document the moment. After he proposed and the moment washed over them both, he let Margaret in on the fact that I was there. Then we jumped int a more standard engagement photography session. We spent the next 45 minutes exploring the rim of the the Grand Canyon, finding interesting viewpoints and making rad photos.

Enjoy!
