Intimate backyard weddings are the best. Sam married Willow in the house in Flagstaff where he grew up. And the ceremony ended just in time for brunch! We’re talking omelette bar people. When you start planning your wedding, it can feel like there are a bunch of rules to follow. You have to do all the “right things.” Nothing could be further from the truth. Sam and Willow’s wedding is a perfect example. They had their ceremony at 11 a.m. It took place in the living room. They both got ready in the house but still managed to not see each other. They had a beautiful “reception” on the back patio under an elegant tent. We took portraits around the house and property after brunch was served and toasts were given. And the whole affair was over by 3 p.m. Nice! Sam and Willow combined their families and kids into a new family unit. It’s so beautiful when wedding celebrations are true family affairs as this one was. I’m so grateful to get to be a part of such amazing new beginnings. Enjoy!
