If you’re reading this, you probably recently got engaged. Congratulations!
And, you’re probably starting to figure out what kind of wedding celebration fits your style. It can feel a little daunting. You need a venue, food, a cake, some kind of music, a photographer, decorations, flowers… the list could go on. You can go big or small. Sometimes less is more.
If you’re looking to get married in Flagstaff, you have some fantastic venue options. One of the best wedding venue options is the Gardens at Viola’s. I love it for a number of reasons.
It feels really intimate
While the Gardens at Viola’s can accommodate as many as 150 guests, is has a very intimate feel. You can also have a much smaller wedding at the venue. A wedding with 50-75 guests would be perfect. The ceremony space on the patio is 10 seconds away from the reception area and bar. Pretty nice!
Your wedding is in a flower garden
It really is! And who doesn’t want that! Viola’s is also a year round flower nursery, so there are flowers and trees everywhere. This really makes a beautiful space for a wedding celebration. Exploring the gardens for your wedding portraits is really fun and provides so many creative options for your photographer. You end up with beautiful photos of the two of you on one of the most important days of your life!
Convenience
Making as many parts of your wedding day convenient and easy can not be emphasized enough. The Gardens at Viola’s wedding venue makes everything pretty easy. The bridal party can get ready at the venue in the bridal suite. There is plenty of room to do hair and makeup. This means no travel time from a hotel room to the venue. Nice!
Guests can park, walk 30 seconds to the ceremony location and then move a few feet to the reception.
Indoor and outdoor reception options
Yep, you can go either way - or do both. The bar is inside. But as I said already, that’s not far from the ceremony location. Once the ceremony is over, the venue staff can clear the seating pretty quickly and turn the patio into an outdoor dance floor. Have a first dance outside before dinner and then head on inside. Toasts and dinner can be had and dancing can resume inside. Or, if the weather permits, head back outside for dancing. It’s really flexible.
Forest vibes and close to downtown
Want some forest photos? You’re in luck. The grounds at the Gardens at Viola’s include a wooded area that is great for wedding party photos and individual portraits. It’s pretty great. And only a short walk from the bridal suite.
Finally, the wedding venue is super close to downtown Flagstaff. 5-10 minutes. Not far. But it feels like a secret destination.
