When you plan a mountain winter wedding at Arizona Snowbowl in Flagstaff in the beginning of April you’re guaranteed to have snow on the ground. And skiers still coming down the mountain as your guests arrive. It makes for a pretty unique scene. Randi and Matt got ready down the mountain at an air B and B. No snow there. Much more spring like. Then it was up the road to the Fremont tented restaurant. It’s a pretty rad venue. After a shot ski moment (see photos) it was time to get the ceremony started. It was a little tricky walking down the isle. Because the aisle was the end of a ski run! These two had one of the more light hearted ceremonies I’ve photographed. Everyone kind of laughed their way through it. But that doesn’t mean it lacked emotion. It was truly heartfelt and beautiful. That’s one thing I love about being a Flagstaff wedding photographer - I get to be a part of so many unique ceremonies and parties. And after the ceremony, this party was on! We did slip away to enjoy the sunset for a few minutes. And it was pretty epic. Totally fun wedding day! Enjoy!
