Julianna and Andy had a classic Flagstaff wedding starting at the Colton House, downtown ceremony and a super fun reception at Thornager’s. The day started at the Colton House around the corner from the Museum of Northern Arizona. The wedding party and bride and groom all stayed on the Colton House grounds, which makes photographing the wedding preparation shots super fun. It’s a beautiful spot. Lush gardens and beautiful stone buildings. It made for a fantastic backdrop Julianna’s bridal photos. The wedding ceremony was at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary right downtown. It’s a classic catholic church with plenty of stained glass. Everyone spilled into the street after the ceremony and just before Flagstaff’s monsoon rains decided to kick in. Julianna and Andy were prepared with his and hers umbrellas. By the time we arrived at Thornager’s for their reception the skies had started to clear. It ended up being a beautiful evening with dinner and dancing under the tent followed by more dancing inside. The staff at thornager’s is super pro. Always a pleasure to be in their care for the evening! Celebrations like these make me think being a Flagstaff wedding photographer is hard to beat! Enjoy!
