Derek proposed to Erin at Shoshone Point the day before Thanksgiving. The two have been together quite some time so Erin was naturally pretty happy Derek finally got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. I walked the mile out to the point about 30 minutes before Derek and Erin arrived. Derek and I had coordinated timing by phone so I would be ready to photograph the moment. Shoshone is a pretty epic spot with nearly 360 degree views of the Grand Canyon. Really amazing. And we had it mostly all to ourselves. Congrats guys!
