Nous Non Plus, storied Faux French rockers from NYC, recently recorded tracks for their new record “Freudian Slip” in Austin and I was lucky enough to snap some photos of the action. Known for their super energetic stage shows, the performances by the band in the studio were pretty darn memorable as well.

Sherry Duffy and Clint Wilson got married in Flagstaff one beautiful afternoon and evening last spring and had what could only be called a really good time. The Arizona Cardinals themed event wasn’t your traditional wedding. The wedding party donned sunglasses with the groomsmen in Cardinals ball caps and team colors.
Sherry didn’t have a Maid of Honor. She had a Man of Honor. Or, Dude of Honor. Or, let’s be honest, the best brother in the world. Kevin Duffy held his own with all the bride’s maids. How did he do it? By standing in the back and taking care of business when the time was right.

Walk up and down the streets of Williams, Ariz. and you quickly realize that there are quite a few interesting folks living there. From old cowboys to guys who like to dress up like cowboys, people who have lived their whole lives in town without leaving and those that decided to retire there.
And then there is this guy. He can be seen on many an evening strolling along Route 66 playing harmonica, unaware of anything else. Even me.

When the Harley Owners Group (HOG) Rally rolled into Williams, Ariz, last year, I expected to see some stereotypical bikers roaming the streets of town. You know, lots of tattoos and kinda mean looking. Sure, there were a few of those folks (although they only look mean – they’re really pretty nice…), but mostly there were a whole lot of motorcycle enthusiasts looking to take in the sites and breath in some rejuvenating mountain air.
Take for instance this guy. Looks pretty tough but he also obviously loves his little canine buddy.
Looking forward to when the HOG Rally hits town again in just a couple weeks.
